Unframed on AR-näyttely, joka on syntynyt Kulttuuriosuuskunta TIcAS:in (Suomi) ja De Structuran (Viro ) yhteisprojektin, Unframed: AR ja taiteentekijät, tuotoksena.

Projekti kokosi nykytaiteilijoita Suomesta, Virosta ja Ruotsista tutkimaan AR:tä (augmented reality) sekä taiteenteon työkaluna että tekniikkana. Miten AR:ää voi hyödyntää taiteessa? Miten se voi laajentaa luovuuden mahdollisuuksia?

Unframed-näyttelyn avulla testaamme AR:n mahdollisuuksia laajentaa mielikuvitusta ja kutsua yleisöä näkemään, kuinka virtuaaliset tasot voivat muuttaa tavallisen ympäristön tarinankerronnan- ja dialogin esitystilaksi.

Unframed is an AR exhibition that emerged from Unframed: AR for Artmakers, a collaboration between Culture Cooperative TIcAS (Finland) and De Structura (Estonia).

The project brought together contemporary artists from Finland, Estonia, and Sweden to explore AR (augmented reality) both as a tool and a medium. What can AR do for art? How can it expand creative possibilities?

With Unframed, we test AR’s potential to extend imagination and invite audiences to see how virtual layers can transform ordinary surroundings into stages for storytelling and dialogue.
